Elizabeth Cohen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. She was born and raised in the East End of Pittsburgh. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Pittsburgh, went to Rutgers and received a Masters of Biomedical Science prior to matriculating at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society. She then went on to Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport where she received her Medical Degree in 2021. She finished her training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Allegheny General Hospital where she served as chief resident in 2023-2024.

Dr. Cohen has been in private practice since 2024. She specializes in dentoalveolar procedures, grafting, implants, and treating benign pathology. Dr. Cohen approaches oral health in a comprehensive, systemic fashion and works with patient’s care teams to ensure that people get the best care.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her fiance, Zach, as well as their dog. She practices yoga (she is a certified yoga teacher!), gardens, and will talk your ear off about anything relating to food or cooking. She is excited to get to know the community at the Facial Surgery Center and serve the people of Western Pennsylvania!
