Dr. McCloy is a native of southwestern Pennsylvania and was born and raised in the Mt. Pleasant area. He earned his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2015. Following dental school, Dr. McCloy completed two internships in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh and West Virginia University, then went on to complete his residency training at West Virginia University.

Growing up with two family members in the dental field, Dr. McCloy developed an early passion for dentistry and a strong commitment to giving back to his community. He has organized and volunteered with numerous nonprofit and community organizations, including Oral Cancer Stair Climb, Diabetes Expo, Special
Olympics, Virginia Special Olympics, Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile Day, Relay for Life, Central Blood Bank Drives, Highlands Hospital 5k Walk/Run, YMCA-Tree Planting and garden restoration projects.

Dr. McCloy resides in Harrison City, Pennsylvania, with his wife, April, and their three sons, Calvin, Murphy, and Sullivan. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his family, outdoors, growing pumpkins, and cold plunging.
